Affiliate disclosure

Current status

GardenScoop does not currently publish affiliate links. If that changes, this page will be updated to name the programmes we take part in, and affected articles will carry a visible disclosure near the top of the page.

How affiliate links would work

An affiliate link is a tracked link to a retailer. If a reader buys something after following one, the publisher may earn a small commission. The price you pay is not affected.

Our rules for commercial content

• Recommendations are made on editorial merit — a commission never buys a verdict.
• Any page containing affiliate links will say so clearly, above the recommendations, not buried in the footer.
• Affiliate and sponsored links will carry the appropriate rel attributes.
• We will not publish invented hands-on testing, copied retailer ratings, scraped review counts or fabricated star ratings, and we will not mark ordinary editorial text up as review schema.
• Where live pricing isn't available, we point readers to check the current price at the retailer rather than printing a figure that goes stale.

Editorial independence

Our editorial policy applies to commercial content in full. If you spot something on the site that looks like an undisclosed commercial relationship, please tell us at info@gardenscoop.com.
